Only the People Have Liberty—Washington’s Power Is On Loan

Congress and the President are making an unprecedented reach for power to control the economy and just about every part of our life. This grab for power will unleash devastating economic and societal consequences on all Americans.

I support the individual liberties guaranteed in the Bill of Rights because freedom is the foundation for greater opportunities and achievements. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are rights endowed on all Americans, born and unborn. I am 100% pro-life and a staunch supporter of our Second Amendment.

I support the small businesses and workers who create jobs and American success. My husband and I own a small business, and we know the challenges and joys of making a payroll. We know that small businesses create jobs, not the government.

How can Washington help create new jobs on every Main Street? By reducing the tax burden and heavy-handed regulations on job creators. The government should not take over and run companies. Free enterprise is best left in the hands of hard working citizens — not politicians and bureaucrats.
