We Did It!

Friends,

We did it!!!! We united together as the good people of the 4th District and said, ‘It’s time to take back our country!’

Some people were surprised. I wasn’t because I know YOU. We are not Nancy Pelosi and I have been sharing with people for over a year now that we are fed up, fired up, and were going to stand up on Election Day and make our voices heard—and we did!

We won last night with a final vote of 50% to 45%–a decisive 5 point margin. It was a victory that we did together.

I can’t thank each of you enough for all you did to make this possible. You went door to door, sent emails, wrote letters to the editor, put up signs, walked in parades, invested money sacrificially to help us raise the money we needed and told others the truth about my support for the military and our Second Amendment rights.

That made all the difference. When our opponents launched $2.5 million worth of attack ads distorting my pro-military and pro-gun record, it was YOU who told your friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers the truth. Your advocacy was more powerful than the Washington dollars spent against us and the truth prevailed. Thank you!

I am so humbled by how so many of you sacrificed financially to help us raise the money we needed: from the 95-year-old patriot on fixed income who sent $5 and wrote me an encouraging note to those of you who took money out of savings to invest in this vital cause, thank you! Against huge odds, we raised the money we needed to get out our message. I am so grateful for each of you and the sacrifices you have made.

Most importantly, my husband, Lowell, daughter, Tiffany, and I want to thank you for all your prayers. They have made all the difference and we are where we are today because of them. Thank you!

I covet your continued prayers and partnership in this effort as we move forward with optimism and conviction. They are needed as we take the principled steps necessary to turn around our country. I believe the best solutions and ideas come from the people—not the so-called ‘experts’ in Washington. I want to continue to hear your ideas, glean from your expertise, and work with you to take our common sense ideas and Heartland values to Washington, D.C.

I look forward to working with you to turn around our country and want to thank you, once again, for the privilege of representing you in Washington. Being entrusted with the 4th District vote is a sacred honor I don’t take lightly. I will guard it, respect it, value it, and cast it with you always in mind and, in so doing, devote it to the cause of freedom, opportunity, and taking back our country for the good of the 4th District and for our future.

God bless each of you!!!

Onward!
